Aims and Scope
Journal of Neurology and Experimental Neural Science aims to publish high-quality research in the field of neuroscience and neurology, with the ultimate goal of advancing our understanding of the nervous system and improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neurological diseases. Our journal covers a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Neurodegenerative diseases, such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and Huntington's disease
- Neuromuscular disorders, such as myasthenia gravis and muscular dystrophy
- Neuropharmacology, including the development and testing of new drugs for neurological disorders
- Neuroimmunology, focusing on the immune system's interaction with the nervous system
- Cognitive neuroscience, including studies of perception, memory, attention, and decision-making
- Neuropsychology, including studies of brain-behavior relationships in patients with neurological disorders
- Neuroimaging, including studies of brain structure and function using techniques such as MRI and fMRI
- Neurophysiology, including studies of the electrical and chemical properties of neurons and neural networks
- Neurogenetics, focusing on the genetic basis of neurological diseases and disorders
- Neuroethics, including discussions of ethical issues related to neuroscience research and practice
We welcome original research articles, reviews, and case reports in these and other areas of neuroscience and neurology. We also encourage submissions of articles that integrate different fields of neuroscience, such as neurobiology, neurochemistry, and neuroinformatics.
