Introduction

Sleep quality is a crucial aspect of overall well-being. Adequate sleep quality is characterized by feeling refreshed upon waking, whereas poor sleep quality leads to sleep insufficiency and manifests in various symptoms. Children are particularly affected by sleep issues, influenced by factors such as genetics, sleep habits, medical conditions, parental influences, screen time and the child's environment. These factors are interconnected and dynamic [1-2]. Sleep insufficiency can result in neurocognitive and behavioral problems, mood disturbances and specific conditions such as pulmonary hypertension, cor pulmonale and obesity [3]. Effective management begins with a comprehensive history to understand the complexity of the condition. Treatment should be tailored to the child's age and specific factors, involving both the child and their parents [4,5].
