Abstract
Ankle arthrodiastasis represents an effective and conservative therapeutic alternative for post-traumatic osteoarthritis in young patients [1,2]. Its ability to preserve the joint, reduce pain, and improve function makes it a preferred option before considering arthrodesis [2]. The clinical case presented supports the effectiveness of this technique, demonstrating an objective improvement in mobility, pain, and quality of life. Further long-term research is needed to establish standardized protocols and expand its indications [13].
