Abstract
Varicocele affects 15% of adolescents and adults and can cause pain, discomfort, and male infertility [1].Varicocele is as an abnormal dilatation of the veins of the pampiniform plexus in the spermatic cord that can be treated either by surgical approach or non-surgical techniques (i.e. sclerotherapy and embolization). Several complication of the endovascular technique have been described, such as pain, vein perforation, hematoma, hemorrahge, coil embolization, hydrocele, recurrence of varicocele [2], pampiniform plexus thrombophlebitis and allergic reactions. We present the first reported case of ureteral stricure and hematuria after anterograde varicocele sclero-embolization.
