About the Journal
Journal of Osteoporosis and Bone Research is a metabolic bone disorder characterized by progressive decline
of bone mass and bone quality, leading to bone fragility and an increased risk of fracture. Osteoporosis occurs when
bone resorption outpaces bone formation during bone remodeling.
Journal of Osteoporosis and Bone Research is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that provides a platform for
scientists and clinicians working on the diagnosis, prevention, treatment and management of osteoporosis and other
bone diseases. The journal publishes research articles, review articles, as well as clinical studies related to the
biology, physiology, and pathology of bone and muscle.
